New XDFs for 12202088 Series_2 and 12225074

I've had the need for an XDF for a 12202088 Series_2 OS and found that the only "mostly complete" one was written for the US tunes, being that the units in a lot of entries were written with units based on Deg F or Ft Lbs torque, plus some math calcs were close, not exact, so a couple of m...

Re: Tuner pro "Error-One or more checksums could not be upda

The box in red saves the plugins UUID in to the XDF. So for this checksum to work the matching dll much be available on the system when it loads the XDF. Because you cant see the UUID easily in the XDF or in the DLL it gets hard if your not supplied the XDF with the DLL at the same time, or you don...

Re: REALTIME VX-VY n/a PCM

To back what Antus posted earlier about the length of ribbon, some years ago I made a bios chip flashing adaptor using floppy cable as the connecting cable, anything greater than 6 inches in length resulted in programming errors, just a thought on my own experience using floppy ribbon. MyProg1.JPG

The seller from the ebay sale I posted above has half of what you're looking for.

That was my thought when I saw the ribbon soldered to the board.
You can find them on Ebay listed as PLCC emulator adapter.
Soldering a plcc chip mount to the board is probably a stronger long term solution.

Re: Is TunerPro rt registration a scam

Yeah definitely not a scam, and as antus stated, definitely the right email.
I emailed him a couple of days after I paid the fee as I didn't get the key, figured he was busy and waited, turns out he was.
He's an honest hard worker with limited spare time.

The BZPT0725 chip I have here for a getrag VS uses the National NM27C010 chip, not sure about others.

Re: NVRAM Issues

what file did you put on the nvram? was it the stacked file? thats the one you need to use as the nvram is 128 kbyte, and the memcal max is 64kbyte, so you need a copy in each bank else only one bank will be working (probably not the one you have selected with the map_sw jumper). Was posting the sa...

Re: End of Injection - L67/ecotec

Mixed results. I took 40° off the cold table to 2000rpm. First morning the car was really flat and it almost stalled. 2nd morning I leaned out the cold start and it improved somewhat but I could swear it rattled as the engine returned to idle after a short drive. Going to lean out the cold start a ...
