Re: Installing USB comms 3.0 bought years back - 082 PCM

Thanks Antus - i think i bought the NVRAM in 2016 or thereabouts. Hopefully it isn't dead. I do have a gq-4x programmer might take a shot at erasing and re-writing.

VLAD01 it's in a VC, there is no ALDL/OBD etc in the loom as we made it to utilise the USB comms with the 808 ;)

Re: Installing USB comms 3.0 bought years back - 082 PCM

I should add that the issue is, it ran rough when i last started it, then stalled. Now wont start and highspeed fan is on constantly. In the past this has happened with a corrupt burn/write hence suspecting the NVRAM
Any help greatly appreciated

Installing USB comms 3.0 bought years back - 082 PCM

Hi guys! I bought an NVRAM and USB comms kit from Antus years back and have been using the NVRAM in a friend's 808 with USB comms v1 (5wires). I've had some sort of issue and cant connect to the ECU in tunerpro anymore. Suspect the NVRAM or 808 has failed, so decided to install the usb comms v3 into...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

I should mention it is logging codes 19 and 45 TPS stuck i think might be legit, as I can see in one of the logs that TPS% goes to 0 while TPS voltage stays high and slowly rolls back (is that what actual TPS stuck looks like!?) Rich code sets at idle usually after driving for a while and i think is...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

So we figured out that .038 was too low - we hit 100% VE and had to change the inj rate again. Settled on .0445 But when i changed the injector rate i also reset the ms offset and batt volt offsets to the stock V6 (ms) and suggested batt offsets in the link in an earlier comment here, which resulted...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

Wouldnt the target AFR in the monitors be the effective target AFR, whether than be idle vs coolant temp, main target afr table or any other?

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

Closed loop idle is only speed control, not fuel related Ok thanks for that Dylan Something that is strange (that i had put down to what i thought was closed loop making changes) is that i can change the VE in the idle cells fairly aggressively, but the resultand AFR seems to not really react at al...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

I'd appreciate if i could get some feedback on the spark tables from some who have tuned turbo also fellas. Notably feedback on the changes i made in the last bin ^ compared to the first bin. Be sure to observe the charge temp and coolant temp offset table differences along with the main spark table...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

Thanks for the help so far people. Here is the latest copy of the bin which includes some more VE calc data. Holden202t - is there a VEcalc boost history table? Or is this a 2 man live-tuning job only? Everything looks pretty close considering that changes made - i've also attached the latest log (k...

Re: 202 Turbo Tuning Gremlins - Cleanup Help

VK_3800 sorry hadnt refreshed the thread before replying again. I ended up adding 42-45% to VE for some feedback for these reasons: -I did a breif drive watching AFRs closely pre-change and the VE calc table values for most cells were lookking around 40% higher -I applied x1.58 to the table then ove...
