Re: reflash P59 tac module
curious if anyone with a P01 corvette TAC module could pop the cover off and check the chip ID? maybe there is something there that could help us.

Re: "flat response" knock sensors
personally, I've tried to make these work and have never been successful.budwizer wrote:NSFW, or others?
I know this may be a little bit of a thread dig, and potentially has been resolved.
But out of curiosity was this ever confirmed working or did it fall through the cracks as a still to do?

Re: reflash P59 tac module
exactly. and if you could turn off current monitoring you could even run a cheap china gen4 TB. I'll be happy to take a look and see if there are any parameters that look at that in the Engine Diagnostics segment of the calibration, maybe changing the range would allow the GEN IV throttle bodies to...

can do either.Cincinnatus wrote:Does the 7603 OS support dbc or only dbw throttle control?
It's more important your hardware can support DBC. Look for a service number from a van. It'll have IAC components and discrete AC logic control.

Re: Gm crank trigger wheel
if you run a single pattern wheel, you need to use a single pickup sensor from like a 96-99 vortec 350 or a 4.3L v6. If you run a double pattern wheel, use the ls1 style sensor that has two inverted pickups. The double pattern wheel is just redundant inverted patterns, and the sensor has two pickups...

Re: LS1 Boost OS - Development
Just something that a little different. A way for the 7603 to use a Gen 4 DBW throttle body? I know this is from a while back....but just wanted to add some detailed and extremely helpful info on this topic  . Not to say a gen4 DBW throttle body is impossible on a P59, but it's exceptionally u...

Re: 0411 running a 2.5L Jeep engine
I've found a place that'll laser cut parts. So I sent them this drawing (the PDF) to see how good they do. I ordered 4 of them and it was under $100. That included zinc plating. I'm pleased to report the parts are very nice. They came in a blister pack and well protected. Now I need to know. Can us...

Re: reflash P59 tac module
if the comms is just serial and you understand them, could you replace the control logic hardware completely but keep the electronic throttle assembly? run from a pro micro or something? obviously would be safety considerations in the implementation and not for road use. definitely possible- and is...
