Possible xdf issue VS supercharged enhanced NVRAM

Hey guys So I've been having an issue for a little while with a conversion I done of a vs l67 into a 4Runner. I've never been able to read the injector rate constant. I thought it may have been an issue some where on my end with files and programs not being up to date but recently I decided to have ...

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Sounds exactly like what has happened. I was told the PCM was from a crashed vy but after checking the service number and memcal ID it was actually from a vx. Took the car for a quick spin on the supercharged PCM before putting my flash PCM in and oh my god it makes a huge difference, constant pull ...

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Yeah I realise that. Just to simplify it I wanted to link the pcm and bcm then I could've just plugged the nvram in, started emulating and happy days. Unfortunately it didn't work out like that so I tried uploafing my modded bin with vats off and thats where my problems started. Either way I have th...

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Awesome, that makes it really easy to play around with chip burning then. I got the program for the gq4x last night and sussed it out a bit. It all looks quite straight forward and easy to use. Hopefully I won't have to do to many rewrites courtesy of my stupidity though  Looked through the sc...

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

So after poking through a few threads I've now got a gq4x on it's way from from mcumall. Are the Dallas chips electronically eraseable? To write the bin it's just a matter of stacking it four times, to match the nvram size, in TP then writing it through the program for the gq4x? Awesome cheers Antus...

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Yeah seems like it may have been. I wonder if it happened when I wrote cal using the flashtool because the vx bus chatter may have interrupted the write and only done a partial.

I'm guessing I'd need a burner or something to rewrite the nvram and get it working again?

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Yep could connect through both TP and flashtool before the upload and then after uploading in TP neither will pick it up.

Excuse the sloppy injector multiplier  wanted it beefed up so it didn't lean out before even having a chance to check AF's

Re: VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but I already had the latest OSEplugin and flashtool so I'm not sure what's going on. Had vx selected in the plugin with the right com port and cable echo ticked. That may be the reason why flashtool isn't woking for me though. I'll try disabling bcm chatter by dis...

VX Super6 NVRAM Problems

So I'm having a pretty decent problem with my NVRAM, probably because I goof balled something. It's for a vx super6 with The1's extended bin, just got it today. Currently I'm unable to connect to my NVRAM through either TP with the OSEplugin or the Flashtool. High speed fan runs with ignition on and...

Re: VX intercooling and swap flash pcm with memcal pcm

Good point, makes sense also. I let a lot of people drive my car and I get paranoid about them putting their foot flat when it's cold. At the moment I'm not overly worried but with the setup I'm sorting out now I don't there to be any chance of hurting the engine. If it was just me driving I can con...
