Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
VL400, your first statement interests me... the paper clip does work, and anti-theft works so it must be my listening tool. firstly, its weird because the listening tool works well on the VS i have, i can execute commands and it returns data that was predicted... the module i made consists of a pic2...

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
I've had your question a few times, thanks for sticking with your strongest line of questioning.. let me try to satisfy. i have disconnected everything i can think of and yes the volt monitor was external from the modules, its just a simple multimeter meter. (best to repeat at this point that i get ...

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
sorry for the delay, i'm trying to detach from the problem because im stone walled... i tried to replace the BCM, when i plugged it in the same signal/pulse was being transmitted on the data line. Also removed the solar/receiver module under the windscreen. its either my homebrew module and all my e...

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
the only follow up question is, is the microcontroller the relay and is it itself corrupted. if its not there are many reasons why its not relayed in the subcomponents, first being that it would be unnecessary bandwidth consumption. as im not an engineer, i dont even know most of whats on the board....

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
Just found the dash has 26 error codes it can report, 7 of which are serial data based (abs missing, bcm, ecc, sdm, bcm no polling, general serial data missing).
this could be interesting.
edit: bah, it will only be relevant to aux bus line, am im pretty sure that is working

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
1.8v is a common voltage breakdown of the 8192 standard, almost twice of the logic comparative of 80% @ 5v, but it is drain based so makes even more sense. i have disconnected the PCM and received the same incoherent chatter. It would be an easy confirmation, i will rifle over the manual and try and...

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
- i have disconnected all modules and repeated tests (both fuse and plug methods) - pcm serial line voltage is 1.8v steady, bcm + pcm is variable even when ignition is off - no predictable aldl communication even after IGN is switched - no noticable scorching on the board given the board doesnt have...

Re: Advice needed on VT hardware
replying just for those with general interest. what i observed when plugged in is a single character being transmitted 13 times (pattern). Sometimes its 0x4, sometimes its 0xC. it reminds me of a capacitor somehow impeding on the line, very superficial but appears to have logic because of expectatio...
