Alfa Romeo Boxer

The Alfa Romeo Boxer thread My main interest in the ol' Delco is for its application on Alfa Romeo engines, principally the Alfa Boxer engine. :) Just as a quick re-cap for those who don't know, Alfa Romeo Produced flat 4 engines for its Sud, Sud Sprint, 33, Arna (Italian made Nissan N12 Pulsar), an...

Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine

Sweet as, we are using a TBI setup tho....just off a pulsar :P So it probably won't be of much use! Still nice to know someone is going 2 cyl as well!

My mate and I loved the Youtube vid, that runs sweet as, I surprised at how good your throttle response was with such a large throttlebody!

Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine

Just a quick one: Do you have a Bin for this running as is? We here are doing a Subaru Sherpa (660cc twin Cylinder) and it might be of a little help! :D

Re: Alfa Romeo EFI conversion

Yeah thats me...

Lol, you ended up with that manifold? Neat

Use a 2L 116 dizzy with a internal reluctor and lock it off. The ECU will handle your spark advance.

Re: Alfa Romeo EFI conversion

You from SA?

You need a Alfa Guiletta Distributor, with the counter weights locked out. This drives a Camira HEI module strait up.

Use a JE inlet manifold, it lines up roughly with the carb style (not FI spider or EFI spider) intake. Get it tigg'd on

Have fun! :)

Re: telementary

I had it set up and (sorta) running at 9600: The problem is that it falls out of sync after around 30 seconds and the data goes all weird. I believe this has to do with the lag time between the request for data, and the return of data in the unit. I'm rapidly running out of settings to play with...s...

Re: telementary

Hey, Sorry for the lack of updates and the like... :) I've got hold of a pair of really nice 433MHz 100mw RS232 RF modules, I'm currently sitting at my bench working away.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2pc-433MHz-RS232-wireless-PCB-transceiver-module-1mile-/270484510382?pt=BI_Robotics&hash=item3efa2...

Re: telementary

First off, sorry for the late reply, bit stressed as I have seemed to have lost my (new) job already... :( Yeah we will have inputs to start stop ... With some code mods an external switch could be used to start/stop it. Will add it in the next release on pin C15. I'm not after inputs to start/stop,...
