Re: VIN Only Flash on 411/LS1 PCM Options?

We threw an app together and used VIN changes as our first item to change... might work for you. Have not added CAN support, yet. (got busy with work) Will be supporting a lot of other things besides just VINs, that was just an easy thing to start with. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=...

Flash Memory "A-B" switch (44 pin PSOP)

Opened up another project I did back in '06.. This one is a circuit that allows you to replaced a 44 pin PSOP flash (e.g. Intel 28F400) with multiple chips so that you can switch between them. The switch watches for line activity to ensure that you do not switch over in the middle of a Read / Write ...

Re: Open Source Hardware

After suffering to get the J2534 working, the PDU won't be a big deal. It is essentially just another API to implement which essentially performs the same sort of tasks, but with different methods / return values, etc. Increment effort. Would make sense to get J2534 cleaned up first from a performan...

Re: Open Source Hardware

Some answers to questions: - Cost (my) assembled in a small quantity is going to be somewhere around $75-$100 w/o enclosure. Large quantities should be in $50 - $75 range. - If I go through the trouble of bulk ordering (e.g. putting money down, etc.) I'm going to charge a little more than my cost to...

Re: Gm Seed key algorithms

for GM, starting with some MY17 cars, they have switched to a 5 byte seed/key. In addition to the algorithm number discussed above, there is a security table now as well. Each security table has N number of algorithm rows similar to the old functionality. (a lot more to brute force) Additionally, th...

For "thousands" of cars by different manufacturers? This is just a bullshit product.

Re: Reading eeprom from delco PCM, MC68336 based

Sorry for late reply.

These Saturn PCMs were made by Motorola.

If you give me VIN #'s for your Auto and for a Manual, I can pull you files.

Pretty sure I have mapping & checksum info as well...
