Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
Not sure if the above info/chart is correct. You did query this yourself. Looking at your picture of the 2JZ-GE engine in the BMW it looks like the dizzy is driven by the camshaft, if so you would not get 24 pulses for every engine revolution as it is running at half speed. Also how many wires go t...

Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
if you use a camira/pulsar/chev v8 module just leave 6 teeth even space on the 24 tooth wheel in the dizzy cut the rest off (leave every 4th tooth) ignition solved no head butting the wall trying to interface toyota module to gm ecu simples.. Thanks. VS SS mentioned this before. It's sounds perfect...

Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
Maybe you could set it up on tdc then machine every second and third trigger out till your left with the six at even spacing. Would that be sufficient to run the 808? If so I can modify the spare unit in the picture to use. :) I am still studying the ignition system to understand how it is electric...

Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
Thanks VS SS. I just did some digging and found this from Toyota themselves. http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae111/brady1993/Cam%20and%20crank%20wiring%20diagram_zpsop2vvcxp.png Is says the wheel spits out 24 pulses per engine revolution, given the wheel is inside the dizzy and on the same shaft,...

Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
Thanks Dylan. I'm researching the VL400 now to see what it is. Lol. :D Would it be simply easier if I get a commodore crank sensor and make a crank sensor wheel? Looking at the dizzy gearing in the cylinder head, it looks like the dizzy spins at the same speed as crank RPM, surely that's not right? ...

Re: Delco on 2JZGE?
Thanks Kojab. :D I'll forget about the VS wiring diagram then. :) So I would use the 808 ECU without a cam or crank sensor? Also, just to confirm, the 808 is intended for use with high impedance injectors correct? :) If so that will work nicely, as all the injectors I have here are high impedance. :...
