OK. Thanks. I can do that.
I did actually generate a couple of logs in case someone was prepared to look at them for me.
I've just looked now though and can't work out where they got saved to or what they are called so I might have to do it again yet.
I'll keep looking tonight though.

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Wow. You should get your Call back. They would have your certificate of proficiency on file, you would just have to pay your license fee again. ACMA Are just about to make changes to the F Call that should see you guys getting increased power and digital modes (something that may interest you? Packe...

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Ah ok. Thanks. Some very good info there to help me understand things. I actually have a background in early 80's home computers and BBS'ing, also Amateur Radio packet radio. So Serial com's are something I've been into and enjoyed for a lot of years. The System in the VY reminds me a bit of the old...

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Hi @ateyourv8, No I haven't tried clearing code from Tuner Pro. I went through all the menu's and I can't see any option to do that. Or do I try sending FA ,56 ,0A ,A6 somewhere in Tuner Pro? I think the A6 is a checksum thing. I'm pretty new to all this stuff understanding wise. But although having...

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Hi Taz, Yea. I do like the serialized ALDL / BT Cable idea. You definitely have a customer here for one once they are mass produced and under AU$100ea. I'm going to try and muck with the thing more over the weekend as time allows. I would have liked to just see if the fault had disappeared by sendin...

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Sorry. I typed a more detailed message but lost it due to the net dropping out when in the car. But basically, I just gave it a bash. I can get the Flashtool to load and connect. It seems a bit hit and miss though. Eventually it comes up identifying the car (VY II etc with the VIN and so on). Often ...

Re: Reset SRS AirBag Fault - 2004 VY2 Wagon
Hi, Thanks for the help. I'll download the ose flashtool and give that a go for starters. If there is an actual problem I am suspecting the clock spring as the steering wheels radio buttons have never worked correctly for the past 5 years so it's probably degraded further. Or could be tensioner rela...

Hi guys. I tried searching for this info with no results so sorry *IF* I'm about to ask a stupid question. I have a 2004 VY Series 2 - Commodore Executive Wagon. Re: VY2 V6 XDF, ADF, & .BIN Wanted
OK Thanks. At the moment I'm not really writing back to the ECU. It's just more for fault finding.
But I'll keep what you said in mind for the future.
Appreciate your help. Many thanks.
