Re: PCMHAMMER read with pcm in vehicle?
Thanks mate - does that mean there's an issue with the cable? Tbh I'm not all that familiar with the processes.

Siemens Deka Injector Identification
Is anybody able to identify these injectors? Can't find anything on them that gives an idea of flow rate etc. Apparently were on a cammed 304. Numbers fall in the range of 3000-3021 from memory. Assume it's just a production number and not model number? https://i.imgur.com/1e3u83L.jpg https://i.imgu...

PCMHAMMER read with pcm in vehicle?
Hey everyone! Just wondering whether it's possible to use PCMHAMMER for calibration changes when the pcm is fitted to the vehicle, or does this need to be done with a bench harness? Tried to do a read on my VY LS1 and the read fails - also tried on my VX SS and it failed as well. It does however rea...

Re: 2-bar / 3-bar hacking
Really not directly related - but I read somewhere that disconnecting the maf and altering maf dtc’s using the standard OS means that some features such as traction control are disabled. Any idea whether this is correct?

Re: Allpro USB adapter setup
Yeah cheers guys. Already got one of the obdlink tools and it works fine. But did want the 4x - that's why I purchased the allpro in the first place. The fact that the obdlink tool worked and the allpro didn't pretty much confirmed to me that the allpro was faulty. I noticed another member mentioned...

Re: Allpro USB adapter setup
Alex received it - said there was nothing wrong with it and refunded me the price less postage. I'm not sure what to believe.
Quite annoyed being out of pocket $35 or so on postage both ways.
At least I got some money back anyway I suppose...

Alex is going to test it - I sent it off today. Hopefully he can sort it for me.

Re: Allpro USB adapter setup
Will try playing with comm ports again. Won't be home until next weekend so will give it another go then, but did try it on a brand new computer - came out of the box yesterday actually and gave the same result

Re: Allpro USB adapter setup
Yeah, the "CAN wiring failed" message sounds like a hardware problem. Mine prints "CAN wiring is OK" at that point. That said, I'm kind of surprised the app even noticed, because everything after the "All Pro Id" message was really only intended for human consumption. ...
