It's vs 97 304/4l60e driveline put into vp ute so no kickdown cable...does have shiftkit/boost valve etc + ACE memcal.

Might get paperclip check TPS is in spec range although no faults come up....yet to check IAC keeps raining when get little bit of time off to muck around with it.

Good to see still progressing along with the build.

Mine doesn't idle up on cold start just sits at same rpm neutral or in gear whether it's cold or warmed up. Doesn't kick down at WOT 60-70km/h so guessing may as well change TPS unless something ...

Pink blue trace comes out of the harness that comes up from auto...tap it into a fused accessory & should be right to go.

When you check for fault codes it will come up...so to will cel & it will be in limp mode

Got this weighed other day after tip run...with full tank of gas 1350kgs.

Can get another 50kgs out of it although getting it to 1250kgs should be 13's territory with basic mods.

Car is so quiet hard for people to know it's v8.

Are 3.73 gears m75 or m78 or whatever it is to suit 6cyl vt irs?

Was told some modding required like larger 22mm nut on longer shaft & some housings might need some clearancing but yet to find someone 100% especially now that they're NLA & priced sky high now

This thing is currently doing daily duties...best so far 13ltr/100km mix of 50km/h suburb driving or m5 peak hour...added extra earth to wiring harness from engine block,still smells rich. Got sv8 to fix then can get back into this January after buy laptop then learn how to log etc. Probably fit 1 5...
