Re: MAT location question

Where abouts did you put it in the manifold? at the rear where runners 7 & 8 meet and there was a vacuum takeoff (that I relocated) This is why I mentioned earlier that moving the MAT sensor to the plenum can help a lot It seems as though there is always going to be a trade off with the placeme...

Re: MAT location question

Hi All, bit of an update, I moved my MAT to the intake manifold, I now see up to 78 deg C. So now it has a more realistic range. I then changed Charge temp Inverse table and %coolant contribution back to standard 12p tables. I Chased and altered the Inverse table on warm up to match commanded AFR an...

Re: MAT location question

I believe the COME TTB manifold has it in the stock location (base of the runner) but in runner number 8. On the stock tune the MAT sees huge temps changes, in your location it won't so the table will off heaps. Yep Agreed, now i just have to work out a Fix Move the sensor or tune accordingly? :wall:

Re: MAT location question

Yeah have run them in the plenum a few times on a v6, and with stock tables were way more stable than factory ironically to the point nothing was needed to be changed for the charge temps. Had more issues with stock factory setup and heat soak to be honest and is something that can't really be tune...

Re: MAT location question

My concern is that my %coolant correction table is really going to need work, and what is the best way to get this right? I feel that I have poorly tuned my VE Table because my original %coolant correction table didn't match my application. It also seems that in my case, using the Charge temp invers...

MAT location question

Hi Everyone, I have been reading over and over about MAT placement and how it affects the charge air temp etc. even got on to the Ideal gas Law and the Density of air on WIKI. I recently had some Dyno time and seemed to get my VE's within the ball park at running temps and suprise, suprise, when I w...

Re: Bosch 931 injector Info

Thanks The1. Ill plug that data in before my next data logging run. Just need to decide on the fuel pressure to run, I currently have it set at a static 3.5 bar but under idle and good low load conditions the FPR pulls that down to 3.0 - 3.1 bar, I probably need that 3.5 under running conditions? Su...

Re: Bosch 931 injector Info

Edit: found some that make sense, and it looks like i may be able to use some of that and transfer it over to my $12p Injector Bias vs Battery voltage table.
Not quite sure which Vacuum range ill pick from but it might get me closer.
