the FX is almost back together after painting, so im trying to get more done on this thing, theres a couple of easy wins with it and a few harder ones .... but i want to get progress and get it registered maybe sometime next year before they outlaw registering anything thats not electric :P

oh yeah i forgot that bit of detail :) if you can access the logger you can get it into firmware upgrade mode, but in your case the button is the only option you have!

yeah the logger uses a teensy ++ 2.0 board, unfortunately NLA!

one thing you could try is to re-upload the firmware....

also load arduino IDE and put the blink code onto the teensy just to prove if the teensy works at all ?

I've had a bit of experience with logger screens, my person one the backlight failed, i was able to replace it and all good again, i've also had issues with no recording of logs, but in my case it was a new SD card and off it went, been looking at the same issue for Gareths logger, new SD card didnt...
