Re: FS: '808 Looms (N13 & VN/VP), ECU, Sensors
Hi BennVenn. I am interested in the N12 pulsar loom and distibutor, plus the Delco ECU. Currently I have a 1915cc turboed Beetle running Megasquirt2. Happy with the Megasquirt but was thinking that there may be better options available in an OE type ECU. Things like the speed sensor to enable tuning...

Re: what do i need to flash a vy pcm to l67
Thanks guys for your help. Interesting reading about the Superbug. My car is already injected using Megasquirt. I am happy with it but was hoping there may be some benefits to running a factory ECU - e.g limp home mode, speed sensor, etc. I have been tuning the Megasquirt for around 10 years now (pl...

Re: what do i need to flash a vy pcm to l67
Thanks for that answer.
Makes sense. older ECU's needed older tune files and newer ECU's need newer tune files.
On a similar note, can I use a VR V6 Auto ECU to run a 4cyl engine (Turboed 1915cc VW Beetle) if I use a modified Pulsar/Camira tune file?
Cheers
David

Hi delcowizzid,
Can you please explain further what you meant by "You can't flash a vy l67 tune onto the flash ecu or you will break the ecu"?
I am confused.
Cheers

Using a VY V6 Engine ECU to run a 4-cylinder engine
Hi everyone,
Can the VY ECM be configured to run a 4-cylinder engine?
Currently have a Turbocharged 1915cc VW Beetle using Megasquirt.
Happy with my current ECU but was thinking of the possibilities when using a factory computer like the one in a VY V6.
Cheers

Re: Ecotec conversion to a 1928 Ford street rod project
Hi 28ford,
How is the conversion going. I am currently fitting a VY V6 and auto into a 2003 Ford Transit van. Like you, I want to use the dash and wiring loom as well. So I am wondering what wires you have removed from the loom and also how you got the dash and engine working.
