Re: Trouble connecting to ecu
Ftdi driver I agree with delcowizzid, but you might need to try a couple of versions. This will be the place to start https://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm but you will need to know the chipset model to have a chance. My gut feeling is that it will be a 200 series but as I only have 1 808 here and...

Re: How does the ABS system work?
On the bench, I can have a Vz cluster hooked up, Vz v6/6.0l pim on and a Vz bcm I can go into the Pim and program that to be either no abs, abs, abs/tc or abs/asm When programming no abs, the cluster won’t set a abs warning off. Set as anything else it will go off. In a ls1 pim you cannot configure...

Re: Trouble connecting to ecu

the big question here is what is the cable? This will generally denote the driver to install. what ECU are you connecting to and do you know where the cable came from?
cheers

The ECU flash and dash programming are completely different proceedures, and also software. Well the steering is definitely a little heavier and has more feedback. So much so that now I can actually feel it has a slight pull to the left which I never noticed with the old setup. Missus took it to work this morning and haven't heard any complaints about it yet? Subaru update - happy to repo...
