Re: Vp Wagon

So if it’s wired up that way is it always at full speed or does it vary like it does if both are wired together because it sounds like it’s full pressure all the time or was it an empty system I can’t tell if it had a return hose under your thumb or not It still varies in speed depending on the pre...

Re: Help identify IC and diode

With the "10 25V" device being a capacitor, it looks like a standard basic PWM-to-DC converter circuit. The only thing that doesn't make sense is the 2.5uF capacitor.

I have put a video on YouTube to show the difference https://youtu.be/EP6HPe4OKQc

Re: Vp Wagon

as for the power steering i works really well just have to wait 5-10 secs after startup and the pump fires up no issues feels a little bit heavier on the steering but nothing to complain about in my opinion. Do you know that if you apply power to the black wire on the steering pump first, and then ...

How can I use an input that isn't on the "Axis Variable" list of the Flex Output Editor?

Re: 12P control of RVC alternator

Hmm that is an old document, and that is an error. The (non-public) changelog of 12P v110 says "Renamed spare 0-5v Analog input B12 (Not 25.5v as previously documented) [Tested ok]" Is that still present elsewhere on the site? I will need to update it. I dont really understand what the ch...

Re: 12P control of RVC alternator

I am 95% sure it is B12, but I cant find a way to validate that without testing at the moment. B12 is a 0-5v input. The reason it is not suitable for most PWM applications is the frequency. Most hardware that says its PWM doesnt clearly describe its frequency, but 32hz is not common, so that text i...

Re: 808 component id and use

D8 and D9 are linked in a loop for single TBI (low impedance) injector. This is the only diagram Ive ever found that shows it. I am not sure the original source, but one of the 1.6L TBI vehicles. The diagram doesn't show either D10 or D3 grounded. So there would be no ground return for the injector...

Re: 808 component id and use

could it be a current monitor to implement peak and hold for the low impedance? But if D9 is only connected to D8, there would be no current to monitor. Unless I am missing something, the 0.103 ohm resistor is a current shunt. The voltage developed across the resistor is inputted to pins 5 & 6 ...

Could be a 1.6 Astra/Pulsar.

D8 is an analog input. This presents more questions than it answered....
