I use a PI2 with kodi on my tv... might upgrade it to a PI3, and use the pi2 for this...
looks like it could work better than adblock plus I normally use.

yeah you are fairly limited there with physical distance of a satellite at a geosynchronous orbit and the speed of light getting the signal there and back :P

I do have a bunch of things running right now including a video conference for all day training LOL. ill give it another go when my connection is quieter maybe.

depends on the overhead of your end-equipment I guess... ADSL has like 30ish ms of latency added by design, unless you use the relativlty new Annexe M, which substitutes some reliability with speed. from what I heard, most FTTN uses VDSL which is a higher speed relative of ADSL, which I guess is bet...
