Re: Gm Seed key algorithms
Mdi or mdi 2 is the newer tool but it'll get expensive. Keep thinking, there is no one and only way. Nobody can teach or tell you everything. You will find the more you know it keeps getting harder to go deeper. Sorry. Family things took my attention since I posted that. And I agree. There are like...

Cloning or just full flash of e40 ecu? I got plenty of tools
So I have a client coming through this morning and he has a spare ecm he needs flashed as a stock device. I have a few j2534 devices (mongoose gm pro II, tactrix) as well as tech2win working very well with the mongoose cable. The car I. Question is a 2005 GTO with an e40 ecu. Should I program it wit...

Re: HPTUNERS converting hpt files to bin?
Hola. So I have been playing around with this stuff still. So, where i am at is that when I have an HPT tune on my vehicle, I can read it out with my kess no problem, and it comes out as a 3mb file when pulled with kess. I was told that this is not the whole thing. Now, I have pulled the stock one w...

Re: PCM Hammer Release 012
It is and that's what I figured. Looking at the source it's still pretty rad. Nice use of the at command set. Considering obdlink supports K-can, I'm going to hook it up to my Honda and throw some commands at it later today.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 012
Yup. No go. Flashed back to stock, and pcm hammer times out left and right just reading the vin (read parameters button). Trying to read the ECU says that it cannot unlock the ecu. It would be sweet if I could have the option to just type in my own key, but yeah. I cannot make any use of it. :( with...

Re: PCM Hammer Release 012
Yes obdlink sx, while one of the slowest interfaces, is supported and does work. Pcmhammer will read and write p01 and p59 computers (512kb and 1024kb). You need to find and XDF that suits your operating system to do the tune editing in tunerpro once you've read the bin file. You may decide to chan...

Re: Getting started with PCM hammer
It should be pretty self explanitory to use. The other interface will be the X-Pro (from Tazzi), but he'll need to talk for that. He and another have designed and built it, and put the code for it in pcmhammer. I have used my AVT, MDI, a Mongoose, and an OBD-Link-SX, as well as the allpro, though t...

Re: PCM Hammer Suite development
Meh. They have always been like that. Won't change. Especially when it comes to the "open-source" or just gp altogether. If you ain't turnin' them a profit, you can get bent. :/ Hell, their OS still relies on age-old bugs to function because they cannot be bothered to refactor (though they...

Re: GitHub repo for XDFs
I have a few computers and am willing to take photos, post stock bins/info, and xdfs if I can figure that part out. Is there already a repo? If so, I probably already have something to contribute.
