Re: Ecotec cold starting issue on E85
There is an xdf and bin available for a 5.3L Tahoe. Poke that into Tunerpro and have a look at the flex fuel tables. Probably a reasonable starting point.

Re: Dumb ass question about wideband
US. Free freight for most orders over $60 AUD. Think they will if you pay the freight. I thought RS Components or Element 14 in Aussie might have them, but not so.Charlescrown wrote: Is that Mouser a US or Aust company? Wow big company. Don't think they would send out 1.

Re: Dumb ass question about wideband
It is not a dumb ass or stupid question if you have to ask it. It's a perfectly valid question. 12146448-L is the Delphi part number for 0.8-1mm² wire, which is approx 17-18 AWG. Re: Traction control with a 424 PCM
The other option would be an rpm rate based control. I am not sure if there is an rpm rate variable available in the 424. Rpm rate is what Davis uses. I did look at it in the Autronic for a similar application however the control action was too granular. Someone like VL400 could advise if rate contr...

Re: Traction control with a 424 PCM
I certainly agree with Big about EGT. However most engines are adequately robust. What association do you run in? Is it modified production or street strokers ?

Re: Traction control with a 424 PCM
Put the rear sensor on the tailshaft/diff yoke. Single front sensor on preferred wheel. Input to cancel TC if foot is on brake (unless you left foot brake and may not matter if you do) . Use hall effect sensors to simplify the conditioning circuitry. Box with wheel speed comparator (front/rear). Kno...

Re: Kal EFI101
No limp home mode resistors are fitted. This is probably the cause.
