Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I would suspect much of the parameter/calibration structure to carry over from the Transmission segments of the Gen3 PCM. Just looking at commercial software many of the tables are still similar between the two.

Re: Switches for turning on/off J1850 VPW information
I'd be interested in more info into this matrix. I am trying to make traction control communication work in a Fbody using a P59.

Re: "flat response" knock sensors
This is all the parameters I have on the Knock logic in the 12587603 OS
May shed some light on what needs to be done by comparing two tunes with this OS. Was going to try and back log/calculate the 12212156 locations by doing some hex poking but not made it very far with that.

Re: Mother of all 7603 XDF files
Just to keep track of things I find as I comb through this "C6302 - MAP Sensor Offset" needs "signed" checked so that it can see negative values. Verified my bin files values were correct after selecting the check box. "B5945 - Cold Engine Noise Reduction Timing" has th...

Re: OS 12587604 P59 XDF file
Reverse engineering each parameter by looking it up in a hex editor comparing two similar files is the easiest way to do it. Many parameters are layed out in the same order throughout the years, just some are shifted due to what Gampy said with new features/options. It is tedious to say the least!

Re: LS1 Boost OS V2.1
What is it that you don't like about Tuner Pro? The author is still working on it, so you might be able to get changes made. Mainly user interface. Graph/table editing festures is the biggest for me. Hpt is just so much more refined with editing and viewing parameters. The hooks it has so you can u...

Re: LS1 Boost OS V2.1
What is confusing is why is there even talk about using a "user created" operating system with any type of commercial software....especially hp tuners. If you want to use Hp Tuners....then just use an HPT COS and be done with it. Rewriting how an operating system works and reusing the sto...

Re: Can any P01 take any P01 OS?
Yes. I put 12212156 OS in every P01 that comes in the shop for tuning. That includes the '896 PCM that came in the 99-00 model cars/trucks.
