downloaded the enhanced package and loaded the adx file, but can't connect. The indicator flashes from blue to red alternatively and logs heaps of errors.

OK i was wrong! Theft deterrent was still on. Turned it off and engine started. Keeps throwing up the comms error 31 randomly, and I don't get a MAf reading on the tuner pro dashboard. Theft deterrent is off. I don't get the coms error until drank it over though.

So I now have a NVRAM with enhanced tune and a pcmhacking aldl cable which will let me connect, but the engine won't start on the enhanced tune. Have spark but no injector pulse. Gives error code 31 (coms error). Have also got hold of another pcm and tried it with same result.

Anyone got any ideas?

Wondering if my best solution is to get the ALDL interface cable and a pcmhacking NVRAM with the vx l67 tune. At least I would know the software and lead are good and I can go from there.
Any thoughts?
