Re: E38 - 24x Reluctor - 1x Cam - $$ Reward
I have an Arduino sketch that converts a 24x/1x to 58x/4x and vice versa if you are interested.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
Gampy, to add, yes I always confirm it is not a hardware issue(power supply, wiring, etc) on my end before ranting on the internet.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
Gampy & Antus, I changed from the 9381344 and performed a Write Entire op using 12202088 OS and all seems well. Still finishing the tune but the 'Hammer reads and writes the PCM now. I did forget that I have a Nano GM and it, along with my other professional tool, works fine for all operations. ...

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
I was finally able to look at my notes from the last two read fails using v21. My results may be coincidental with regards to v21 as both of the most recent read fails were attempting to read OS 9381344. Looks like I will be updating the OS and proceeding from there.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
Cincinnatus, I bought a device, sealed in the original Drew Tech cardboard box, and since it sat on their distributors shelf for a year and a half, they basically gave me the middle finger. So I returned the favor and patronized their competition.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
Just to be clear here, I am not bashing the 'Hammer. Maybe it is a glitch in the OS, although HPT reads just fine using what I am sure closely resembles GM's flash routines so, in essence it IS an issue that PCM Hammer does not mitigate. It's nothing personal, just the facts. Gampy, Yes, I can just ...

Antus, I do not currently have another compatible device, only the J2534 device I mentioned.

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
Antus, I can get you a Sigrok file to view bus activity in a bit. This particular vehicle is a 5.3L swap into a 95 Chevrolet 1500. I am unsure if/which modules may still attached to the bus. That being said, this problem arose the bench during previous read attempts . I will log a bench read in a bi...

Re: PCM Hammer Release 021
No disrespect Antus, but I would believe that if this issue pertained to a single PCM. However, this has been the case on at least three P01/P59 PCMs I have tried using PCH v21. I had no issues using PCH v20. Only after the update did this issue occur. I know this because I routinely test and use th...
