Short and Long Term Fuel Trims
Am I correct in thinking these get saved to non-volatile memory and are constantly learned? If so does dis-connecting the battery erase them? Reason for asking is say you have crook O2 sensors and the ECU alters the trims and saves them then when new sensors are fitted it has to go along and take ag...

Re: MAF Parameters
Thanks mate, had me going for a while, just figured that out about 5 mins ago I'll just stick with my bin and the correct XDF and mod the things I mentioned above. Lot to learn, I no longer work as I broke my back so mucking around with this sort of stuff will keep me busy for a while.

Re: MAF Parameters
Cheers, somewhat new at this, I think, maybe, the modded tune I have is a V6 that is mafless maybe, all the values in the MAF parameters section are set to 0, every single one. But, I think I will leave well alone, what I want to do is just alter the idle speeds and fan on temps on my stock VX and t...

MAF Parameters
Excuse all the newbie questions, one query, I'm using two bins in TunerPro to compare, a bin I downloaded from my stock VX V6 and one I got from here named a VX Enhanced bin, it is identical to my stock bin except all the tables etc in the MAF parameters section are vastly different, what exactly do...

Re: VX and TunerPro
Cheers, used memcall id and Im pretty sure I have the correct XDF now, yup everything else seems OK, just wanted to change a few settings to do with idle etc and a lot are temp based and seem to start around 85 degrees, my car rarely reaches 85 degrees over here in NZ, has the correct thermostat etc...

VX and TunerPro
Having trouble with an XDF file to suit a Series 1 VX Acclaim, I have downloaded a bin file from my car but every XDF file I have tried doesn't add up, is some of the values are really strange. For example looking at high and low speed fan enable temps some XDF files say this is set a -32 degrees C ...
