Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
Yeah I won't be using the factory balancer, they are junk. I plan to use either a romac or ati balancer with seperate trigger disc. What is that serpentine pulley you are using from? Also not sure whether to go for magnetic or hall effect sensor. From what I have read magnetic is easier to setup but...

Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
Thanks for that, some options to look in to. I do like the 6+1 wheel though. Should be easy enough to do on a lathe with an indexing wheel and a grinder with cut off disk mounted on tool post.

Re: How to convert a 202 to Delco
Can the delco 808 be made to work with a 36T wheel or is the 6T + missing tooth the only option. Also I assume waste spark only is available, no coil on plug?

Re: Delco 808, is there a DIY Realtime board available?
I have just had a look at the data sheets for both chips and just have a few questions. The ds1245y has 2 extra address inputs compared to the 32k eprom. Are A15 and A16 left unused? The 32k eprom has a VPP pin (programming voltage), yet the ds1245y doesn't seem to have this. Is this now not require...

Those jumpers to set the ammount of cylinders. What is the reason for this? I thought that would be done through the programming.
Where would I find the pinouts?
Thanks

Delco 808, is there a DIY Realtime board available?
Hi all, I have just discovered this forum an am amazed with what can be done with the delco 808 and realtime these days. Was just wondering if there is a diy/homemade real time board available, looks like the nvram can be bought/made easily enough. I am planing to use this on a Holden 202, with VK i...
