Bin for L67/Getrag combo with idle issues
Hi guys, I've transplanted a stock L67 and a Getrag into a VS that was an ecotec/4L60E. The idle is unstable and there are no vacuum leaks that I could detect. From my reading here and elsewhere, it seems to have something to do with spark timing during idle not being right for the manual gearbox. A...

Re: not shore where and how to start tuning my vu ls1 & l67
Hi guys, I've had a quick search but no luck finding an answer. Since I hate starting new threads, I'll post my question here even though it's old. I have converted a VS L67 to Getrag manual. Everything is hunky dory but idle control. Issues - On start up the car idles at 2000 rpm for 2 seconds or s...

Re: FS: PCM NVRAM Conversion (VS Ecotec, VT V6/V8, VX/VY L67
Hi Lucas, I have just put one of these in my VS acclaim. I am running an L67 through a Getrag 5 speed. I couldn't be happier. This board is plug and play. Install Tunerpro RT 5, the OSE plug in and get an ALDL cable and you're away. I made a couple of missteps while learning but they are avoidable. ...

Re: Can not connect to ECU after Upload
Sounds like you flashed in a bad file don't upload bins just do cal uploads. And makes sure you are flashing the correct file you can't upload stock tunes I got a programmer in the mail last night and flashed the original BIN onto the NVRAM. So easy, even I could do it ;-) Now the car runs again. W...

Re: Can not connect to ECU after Upload
Try removing the bin_sw jumper and seeing if you can connect on the second bank. I have the same problem. Uploaded my first BIN and the fan came on. Now the hardware won't initialize because, among other things, it says there is no compatible code in the NVRAM. The car won't start and the ECU throw...
