Re: 2005 VZ V8 wiring
Looks like 2WD/4WD indication. 12v ignition feed. I would assume the 12v ign feed to Pin X13 would indicate 2WD.

Re: Help Identifying a bin
I''ll just tune it again. Have to do some training with this one anyway, so it was interesting to come across a corrupted file. A good learning opportunity.

Re: Help Identifying a bin
Thanks for the help. Makes sense now.
Was planning to tune it from scratch anyway, but it is interesting to see why it may have been having issues.

Help Identifying a bin
I have had a car arrive to tune. It's running an 808 ecu that has been previously been played with. The car has multiple issues, so I decided to read the bin of the memcal to try to see what had been done. After trying with a number of XDF's I have been unable to read the bin. I opened it with a hex...

Re: Late model cars with aftermarket controllers
In the case of the 86, the motec is the only plug in option. The 86 uses electric power steering. It won't fire up until it sees a rpm signal via can. The ABS and traction systems are also not happy.. The motec has can integration with the 86's systems. I have wired in an L98 to an 86 and we got aro...

Might pay to let it known where you are.
If you are located near to me I can put one of my real time ecu's in the car and see what is happening?

Re: vs 5L flooding and won't start
Sounds like the MAP sensor. Check the line from the front of the manifold (it's connected to the intake under the throttle body area) through to the map sensor. If the map sensor cannot see manifold pressure the ecu will assume that the engine is at a high load condition which will add additional fu...
