Re: JTAG or BDM?

I have been looking at this for the later flash pcm's for the Holden. I see they have two rows of BDM contacts unlike the LS1's three rows. The flash eeprom is am29f010b-120je PLCC 32 and is positioned quite close to the BDM contacts. I can trace the lines back to the eeprom and currently think that...

Re: vn holden 6pin aldl plug

No need to hack up a memcal if you use the adaptors from moates. I use the GP1 adoptor with the ZIF fitted to hook up the Ostrich to realtime tune. There are a few combo's of limp home chips and knock. When you use the adaptor you retain your original memcal and tune. You just by pass the original e...

Re: TunerPro V5 Beta

from the quick look i've had theres no real advantage to using it over V4 ... especially with the 10 second wait in V5 that i don't have in V4 !!! having said that it looks alright, i like the colapsable menus tried my adx files with it and it wont talk to my 808 so thats a shame .... The reg info ...

Re: VT $A5 V6 Definition Info

Yoda,

I think you should keep it in line with whats all ready out there. Far less drama that way.

Drop me a mail at mickclean@bigpond.com.au and we can sort this out and maybe put a original listing on the forum like you have all ready started.

Cheers

Re: VT $A5 V6 Definition Info

We might see a few updates in the near future with V5 TunerPro....Looks good...Pretty solid. TunerCat is pretty cheap software if you ask me, you need to get the TDF editor as well. It will currently support Subtract region in the checksum. It also supports the Ostrich so I'm thinking that Antusprom...

Re: VT $A5 V6 Definition Info

I like the way you guys think. Holden used the Program Hardware ID word to identify there calibrations and not the Program ID byte. You can see this when you c the variations in the definition templates. Both TunerPro and Tunercat use the Program ID byte to identify the calibrations. With TunerPro y...

Re: $83 Definition info

Thanks Lads. I was thinking that it would be something like this. Actually drives pretty good in the trans department but I will play with that. Let me tell you a 4.11 diff gear really changes the life in the way the vehicle drives...:) So if I were to play with the PPK speed pulses I'm thinging tha...

$83 Definition info

Hi Lads, I was looking for a couple parameters in the BWFU code on a VS V8. I was wondering if anybody has seen a diff ratio parameter as this vehicle has a 4.11 ratio fitted and I wanted to sort something out. The speedo is out from the diff change and I was looking at options to sort that out. See...

Re: VY PCM - 16269238

Lads, The early LT1's were also flash very much like this PCM. I would say that this PCM is a take off of the US product. TunerCat has a Flash Utility via the ALDL connector for the early LT1's and it would not surprise me if you could get this Flash Utility to work on the Holdens. The interface cab...

Re: Who would want wideband integration

Dick has something like this happening and it does work. You could shove the wide band signel up the EGR reference and reconfigure the data logger scaling factor for he EGR. Either way accurate wideband is important to the tuning deal and it's even better if you can compare it to your commanded and ...
