Depending on what OS you have with yours, you may want to set this up to be able to write the OS and calibration so you can upgrade/run a different OS if needed.. It has been working good for me as long as I'm wired, there is an issue with e...

Re: XDF Creation / Editing - How To????

So... I think I know the answer to the question, but I want to ask the experts.. I happen to have 2 bin files of the same tune, 1 has had a code turned off and that is the only change.. If I do a simple hex compare I can see where a byte was changed from 0x06 to 0x02.. Obviously the CRC and SUM are...

Re: Segment Swap utility

Hey, I just found this and this is awesome!!!! Figuring it out as I go.. one issue so far is the E38.xml file.. Doesn't the CVN need to have the bytes swapped??? Other than that, this is great.. I was able to create my own patch, use it, then have it fix the CVN and sums for me for the file.. Awesom...

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67

This is great!!! Can't wait to try out the new version.. One thing to mention, and this is not a great concern, but... using the MDI wireless it fails every time trying to read the flash.. well not every time.. I tried a bunch of times on another bench E38 and last night and the 7th time it made it ...

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67

Thanks for fixing the link.. Don't have an E38 on the bench at home(yet) but trying the MDI with another spare ecu I have(12611549) and it still doesn't disconnect correctly.. In fact, even with just the MDI connected I click init and select the MDI and then click disconnect and the MDI is still con...

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67

Thanks for all the updates!!! I have the same issue disconnecting, need to close the program and restart it.. Normally when using it with tech2win,gds2, or gm sps the MDI stops flashing when it's done, with this program it keeps flashing so something is a little glitchy with that, but I am NOT compl...
