It looks like he logged on here shortly after I sent him a message.. He hasn't replied as of yet. I don't feel I need to chase him any further.geep wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 9:13 pm ironduke you may be able to get ahold of him on here http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/i ... 58.0title=

Re: Possible new OBD2 interface
Looks interesting, quickly scanned but I don't see anything about J2534 standard?

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
This might be a little bit off topic, but.. U-link NT is now able to read and write the T87a and he's about to come out with a 1 click unlock for use with hpt. Edited to add.. the T87a unlock is live and the new version is out with the needed files. Works great. does it require pulling the t87 apar...

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67
Ironduke, thanks sir. It works now... I was able to connect to both E38 and E92. At least read the VIN. haven't tried to unlock yet. Is there any hope for PowerPCM_Flasher to ever be able to work with the OBDXPro GT? Maybe I would have been better off with a clone MDI for that one. Best, Todd Power...

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67
Hey guys, since the issue seems to be with CAN raw communication and the protocols used here is a VERY quick ISO15765 version. Should work the exact same and maybe work with more J2534 devices.. Download, unzip and run the exe.. I compiled the J2534 dll into the exe to make it a little easier.. Prog...

Probably the cheapest way right now is the Ulink NT with CAN board. https://www.usbjtag.com/

Re: PowerPCM_Flasher: my tool for E38 and E67
I have just tried running the Brute Forcer code here, and I see the issue. So, by default, the J2534 compliancy indicates that the scantool must indicate it successfully transmitted a message to the vehicle network. This is done by adding a message with the CAN header ID and a flag indicating TXD s...

Re: Getting Started E38?
E38 can be used on the bench all by itself.. There's pinouts on the web, I can find something if you have trouble finding anything.. All you need is the black connector. 2 CANbus lines, a ground, a battery feed and an ignition feed. fairly simply. You will want to have the ign feed switched if you p...
