Re: GM E38 E67 Kernel/Bootloader Development Extravaganza
Realistically, only need to write just the parameter block, which would take all of a few seconds to complete. I was thinking of adding something like that to remove tunerlock/change param block stuff so a full clone is not required. Currently you need to do a full clone, which literally erases the...

Re: My First Lathe!
Must be nice to have 3 phase power in your garage? I only actually got it about 2 years ago. Did a house extension and ended up installing a three phase ducted aircon so had to get three phase onto the house for that. Then I just dug a trench and ran a new circuit to the garage. Only really any goo...

Re: My First Lathe!
Good stuff mate. I've got one at my place that came with a single phase motor but its fairly underpowered for turning bigger stuff. I'm a sparky by trade so eventually I'll get around to swapping the motor over for a three phase one.

Interpreter Programmers Reference Manual
I was trawling the web looking for some information on CAN and managed to find the GM Interpreter Programmers Reference Manual which I have never seen posted anywhere before. Not sure if anyone has taken a look at it. Link here: https://filebin.net/qc10916njafehcv2/85336952-Interpreters-April-01-201...

Re: GM E38 Kernel/Bootloader Development Extravaganza
VE V6, E77.. uses MPC562 also... that should fall inline to being supported also. Currently tracking down the following ecus: E39 (VE V6 ECU) E39a (VF V6 ECU) E92 (Colorado) E98 (Colorado) I have an E98 here, although unfortunately is not mine to strip apart, being held for a conversion. I can use ...

Re: GM E38 Kernel/Bootloader Development Extravaganza
Yep, its a customer specific product. Just spoke to a NXP sales rep just now. With the correct connections, seems you can get your hands on the reference manual, but he did say they are based on the main series of chips.. so that confirms that at least. *Edit I have to become a distributor to be al...

Only physical keys are aren't they?Gareth wrote:VE keys are linked to the immobiliser not the BCM.
I'm talking about software seed/keys and as far as I'm aware they are linked to the cluster, radio, hvac control, BCM etc.

VE BCM
Does anybody know the seed/key algorithm for the body side modules of the VE commodore? Or know how I may find it?
If I can work it out I'll develop a program to check the keys
