How come a stock 4L60e dies behind a V6 and yet they live behind LS motors? There is currently a class action lawsuit against Holden/GM about failing late model transmissions in Commodores, slipping/failing converters. OEM they are tuned to constantly slip the TCC! It's gone 14.1@101mph with wheelspin been limiting factor needs less boost off line as soon as turbo spools up at about 2300rpm it breaks loose.

Hey mate, what ignition timing did you run on 15psi? how low did you drop the timing at peak torque ? I'd be more worried about the pistons. You need to open up the ring gap if you want them to survive. Tired valve springs will just valve float sooner. Boost effectively reduces the valve spring pre...

Tired valve springs will just valve float sooner. Boost effectively reduces the valve spring pressures.
Ring gap is fine. Many people running 450+hp for years and years without issue

On pump 98, I would stick to 500hp
15psi should be around 430hp

500ish with stock valve springs
575ish with a cam package
600ish with nos
