Re: Gm Seed key algorithms
I don't really do much of this stuff now days but perhaps someone will find a use for it. I got bored over my holidays and ticked it off my "I'll do that one day" list: https://github.com/jezzab/GMSeedKey I've seen some similar things but they were outdated and with the current tables, mis...

Re: Berry tuning tool
Kinda why they got rid of lean cruise after VY. Not quite correct, VZ was available with DOD (Displacement on Demand) and also had a new automatic 5 speed on various models so lean cruise was redundant. Where was DOD available on VZ? Yes they had the L76 engine but didnt use the DOD/AFM. There is n...

Re: Berry tuning tool
I agree. I just cant see how they could do anything. Oh well, see what happens if it comes outrolls wrote:However with security access I'm very sceptical how you can actually tune the car without flashing the ROM.

Re: Berry tuning tool
What a load of crap! Snake oil. If he uses any commands it will need security access and I cant see him working out the algos for all those cars, let alone all those cars supporting all the commands. ELM327? wtf lol An E38 ECM would blow the doors off the thing with PPEI data in seconds. Probably pl...

16206305 (16183082 inside) R/W wire
Hey guys. Ive got a 16206305 (written on the case) but the reference pics I see over the forum are different. I did find one pic and its says that its a 16183082. Im trying to run the write enable wire as per the instructions for the NVRAM memcal board from VL400 but they reference a pic for a 16206...

Re: LS1 PCM Tuning
Correct. HPTuners or EFILive will not reset the airbag codes due to they should be checked by a technician before being re-enabled. You will need a high end scan tool (SnapOn scanner, Tech2 etc)

Re: VE Instrument Cluster EEPROM Programming
I ??? Think ??? I have worked out how to set the VIN number for the Main unit, via the EEPROM. (Very easy with a Clip and programmer)... I just havent physically removed my stock and installed the test unit to verify. I have also soldered a fly lead and socket on to a fascia unit, so as I can swap ...

Re: VE Instrument Cluster EEPROM Programming
Ooooh Yeah, trust me, it makes a Huuuuge difference !!!! Oh, and as a bonus it works with the Infotainment Colour LCD main EEPROM as well. (Which is good because taking that thing apart is a right royal pain in the freckle... I should be getting a second EEPROM dump from a HSV cluster, and an SS Ma...
