No worries. I grabbed enough to make a nice bench setup during the Memorial Day sale. I'll get it thrown together when I clear a few other things off my plate.
That gateway is interesting. Dual SPC58 CPUs. Sounds like it could be tricky to get the code out of them.

SVT Focus ECM and key
Found this while I was cleaning out some stuff. Got it as a spare way back when I had my SVT Focus. Can't really say much about it since I never ran it in a car. I'll give it away for whatever shipping costs. Figured I'd at least see if anyone was interested before I toss it. SVT_ECU1.jpg SVT_ECU2.j...

Re: GM Can info & knowledge share
I apologize for missing 0x1EF and 0x3B9. Thanks hjturbo for catching those. With that said, what year vehicle are you working on? I've got a 2009 Hummer H3, and 0x1EF isn't available there. But on my 2017 Corvette (and my prior 2014), it's a standard broadcast message from the ECM. Looks like 0x3B9 ...

Re: GM Can info & knowledge share
I don't think there are any broadcast MAF airflow values. That would be internal to the ECM for its torque modeling. I can't think of another module that could use raw airflow for anything. Probably going to need to poll the ECM for it.

Re: 2024 Trailblazer. Global B or not?
Been doing a bit more reading about this thing. I'm gonna call it Global A Plus. Looks like the defining traits of A vs B is that A still has low speed GMLAN, and no FD CAN. Trailblazer fits that, but it also has CAN networks that are fully firewalled by the gen 3 gateway module. So if you're ever t...

Re: 2024 Trailblazer. Global B or not?
Thanks. I came to the same conclusion after reading more about that 2-connector gateway module.

Re: 2024 Trailblazer. Global B or not?
That's what made me stop too.
But this thing does appear to have a Gen 3 central gateway, so it's possible GM Authority is wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.
There's also GEM, or Global Emerging Markets architecture, but I know even less about that than I do about Global B / VIP.

2024 Trailblazer. Global B or not?
I can't find any concrete info on this. Does anyone know if the facelifted US market 2024 Trailblazer is Global B or not?
I've got a chance to buy a bunch of parts off one, but I'm only interested if it's Global B so I can set up a test bench for that architecture.

Re: T87A Bins to Pins - Who's In ?
The boot block has just enough code to get the module up and running so you can program it, or to boot into the OS if it's already been programmed. As such, it only has enough of a GMLAN shell to support basic SPS operations. The main operational GMLAN stuff is in the OS. There's also some hardware ...
