Love reading this stuff. Thanks for sharing. I wish I had something to add, but all I can offer is gratitude.

Re: 2004 to 2012 Colorado and 2006 -10 h3 cluster programming

I checked my CS+ install and it doesn't have any of the PRM files you're looking for.

PRM is for 78K and V850. PR5 is for RL78.

Re: 2004 to 2012 Colorado and 2006 -10 h3 cluster programming

I've got an old Colorado IPC circuit board I was about to throw away. Let me know if it can be used for destructive testing or something.

Re: Ford programming Explained

I can't believe they even offer programming via ELM type devices. It also blew my mind that Ford thinks it's acceptable to take 9+ hours to program a cluster.

Re: BA Falcon BEM EEPROM via CAN

2018 F150 8" cluster in a 2017 truck. I did a quick skim of the code associated with the high range DIDs and it looks like none of them do anything especially interesting.

Re: BA Falcon BEM EEPROM via CAN

This is pretty amazing stuff. Nice work. Is F2A9 a standard DID for Ford CCP? I've been chipping away at the software for a newer truck cluster and I don't see that DID in the list of 2F sub functions. So do I just assume CCP isn't supported on this module, or do I need to dig into each of the unkno...

Re: Ford ECM/PCM types

Looks like a lot of the EcoBoost controllers are typical Bosch hardware. Possibly MED17.x variants. I haven't dug into it too far yet.

Re: mike test... is this thing on?

Caught me off guard when I first logged in, but I'm liking it now that I've had a chance to look around. Seems a little snappier too.

I second what Cincinnatus said about the thread index.

Re: Raspberry Pi CANBUS Adventure

Your AI buddy is doing the same thing it's image generating cousins do. It's the equivalent of 6 fingers on a hand. The individual parts make sense, but the whole is wrong. DID read is 02 1A 90. I have no idea where it's getting F1 from since all mode 1A requests are 2 bytes. The byte count is wrong...
