Re: Introduction. 202 red conversion to ITB manifold questi

Any update on this project? Had a few distractions that have caused some delays on this project. I have the AEM wideband now and just fired the engine up again today. Have to set up the wideband but it is running as rich as a pig as it is. I have to look back through my notes. Cant remember if I ha...

Re: Wideband O2 recommendations.

The AEM widebands seem to be pretty good, and have a gauge, and can be bought with a genuine sensor. I got mine here https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/x-series-wideband-uego-afr-sensor-controller-gauge.html and there is another kit here https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/wideband-o2-air-fuel-ueg...

Re: Introduction. 202 red conversion to ITB manifold questi

ummm .... 0.7 injector rate is way wrong ? for a normal VK EFI injector (19lb) your looking at about .115 on a 202 ... most commodore ones are around the 18-20lb mark so that should be a hell of alot closer ..... to be honest i dont know how its running with that figure, as .7 i can only get in the...

Re: Introduction. 202 red conversion to ITB manifold questi

i notice you said you had the RW jumper unset .... you need to put it on to be able to change the tune from either the flashtool or tunerpro.... but make sure all your comms issues are sorted before you try to do that. you said the injectors are S/H V6 VS, do you mean S/C ? if thats the case they'l...

Re: Reading NVram Help

It just depends and it's impossible to know, best you can do is if its the first bank you want cut the second 32kb chunk out the file you read and view it in tunerpro with the right xdf and see how it looks. Good luck! Something like this https://www.filesplitter.org/ should do it. Pick custom size...

Re: Reading NVram Help

yes thats correct. on the nvram you have 32k unused (blank or a redundant copy of 12p if stacked) then 32kb that is 12p, then another 32k blank or unused 12p, then the second 12p. you'll need to slice is up and save the 32kb you want to its own file if you want to use it in TP5. Easiest way to star...

Reading NVram Help

Now that I am convinced Program 1 on my NVRam is corrupt and the Program 2 is still OK (as I can connect to program 2 using TP5 and Flashtool), I removed the Dallas from the socket and tried to read it in stand alone on my programmer. What I pulled off didn't make any sense in a third party binary e...

Re: VSS input to 808

The speed sensor sounds like a good idea. You could machine up a disc and either press it over the slip joint or weld it. I think that's what your getting at. I bought an off the shelf inline adapter for my speedo cable. I have seen an inline unit fitted into the speedo cable. It was done by a loca...
