Yes I connected the high speed can lines (circ 2500,2501?) to the BCM also.

Well I had read on another forum that the presence of a BCM with the low speed serial data line connected to Pin1 of the DLC would allow the programming. Phew. So much for a simple bench harness eh ? Never as easy as it looks in youtube vids. Holley is looking like a better option at this point.

Thanks Tazzi, I very much appreciate that. I deleted the old wrapper in that location and substituted yours, And I was able to get farther than i have before, All the way to this :

Thanks Tazzi. I have latest Java download, Is that compatible ? I had a feeling the wrapper might be an issue. No antiviurs (that i see) on the provided disk. But where do I find an older version ? Can you help ?

This is usb wired. I got a dedicated laptop just for this purpose, Installed the supplied hard drive, Looks like its windows 7 . Yes in the MDI manager the software macthes says "Devices are compatible" in blue there or something to that effect. Ive tried everything and watched every vid I can find.

Thats where mine fails. I have tried the 'reset' box but no avail. I never see that device explorer popup (which looks alot like the MDI manager interface in videos) So I tried an install on a completley different computer. Downloaded bosch/gm mdi manager from original website. Same result. If anyon...
