Re: Mother of all 7603 XDF files
At some point (and maybe we're past that point) it would be good to set up a Github repo with at least the key XDFs (2156 and 6125 for P01, 7603 and probably 2618 for P59), and corresponding PCM Logger XML, and get the community into the habit of contributing new stuff. Basically, establish customs...

Re: E38 HS canbus messages
What else do you have available besides hptuners? Do you have a gm MDI? can you monitor a/c request with hptuners? that should change from no to yes when sending that command, that is what I am seeing with tech2win.. hptuners has the following channels that can be monitored. -AC Clutch Engaged -AC ...

Re: GitHub repo for XDFs
Here are some XDFs I have created for the 12592433 OSID, as used in most Holden P59 applications 2004-2006. It heavily based on the 12587603 XDF for the P59 by LRT. Huge thanks to him to building the XDF layout with the nice colors etc. The same identifiers are retained, this greatly helps with com...

Re: GM E38 E67 Kernel/Bootloader Development Extravaganza
I'm watching E38 development as I own a Pontiac G8, however I'm a little more versed in P59. I have yet to take a look at disassembling, and I expect its too much for me, but is there anything that works (or in the works) on the E38/E67s ? I have some interesting information donated over the course...

Re: Segment Swap utility
The mandatory fields are: Vehicle make, type, platform, engine type[displacement], trans and driveline. Not any of this can be found in the bin, Only by decoding the vin and the rpo codes. Or you can define each cal part number. For example p/n xxxxxxxxx- engine cal for 2003 5.3l lm3 used with OS yy...

Forgive me, I'm still not fully versed with all the tuning efforts out there. My understanding is part of the effort into this is to allow essentially "mail in tuning" again, correct? Which is a fantastic idea frankly! However, are there any tools available to do so? Although Tunerpro cer...

Re: Segment Swap utility
Folks, I am working on a new Repo for BIN files (https://github.com/Snoman002/Engine-Tune-Repository-TunerPro-EFIlive-TunerCat). As part of this I wish to define an appropriate metacard structure, specifically for tools such as Universal Patcher. The hope is any of the tools can search, query, and p...

Re: GitHub repo for XDFs
On the one hand, volunteer-driven open source projects are prone to abandonment as the people involve get sidetracked by other things in their lives. On the other hand, GitHub makes forking very very easy... :) I'm happy to add links to multiple bin/xdf repos in the PCM Hammer wiki and docs, and le...
