Well, I guess today will work. I can probably figure out the wiring for that. Thank you.

Re: Vortec 350 TPI 411 Conversion
I have another question along the line of this kind of conversion. Could I use the tach signal off an HEI for the CMP, or does the PCM need to see a CMP signal? Otherwise, what would be a good method of getting a CMP signal?

Re: Vortec 350 TPI 411 Conversion
BTW Antis, I'm not to worried about the engine model like the L31, Just a map I can start with. plan for two conversions. Both older 350 blocks. One getting a TPI with the Vortec edition lower intake manifold. Other getting a mod'd LT1 Intake with either mod'd LT1 heads or Ported 416 heads. Or shoul...

Re: Tuning sequence, - is there one?
i know its an old thread, but I kinda want to throw in my 2 cents. I was taught to do the VE first. Fuel should be before spark timing because how rich or lean you make it, greatly affects your timing. Leaning ratio means higher chamber temperatures, faster burner, later spark timing. More fuel cool...

Re: Gm 4.3 P59, possible?
No I haven't. I did get a subscription at Alldata DIY for the truck it came from, but haven't found one for the bin I'm trying to use.

Re: Gm 4.3 P59, possible?
still a no-go. a little more for ya Joukoy. Its a stock powertrain swap from an 06 Silverado into my 94 c1500. engine, tranny, pcm and wiring harness. no modifications except removed the clutch fan for a couple electrics. And I can't get that 2 pin alternator to charge so I dropped in an earlier 4 p...

Re: Gm 4.3 P59, possible?
honestly, if i ever did a swap with a tac module, i know they can be deleted. they are just one more wear item. in my experience, cables can be 30 plus years old and not have an issue. i assume much older. I have a 2013 Sierra that already needs one replaced. to me its a brand new truck and already ...

Re: Gm 4.3 P59, possible?
I think you need to give more info on your current setup. Engine, pcm, OS, tac module. And what have been done. 4.3l, p59, currently 7811 but unable to locate xdf so trying to switch over to 6703, tac module?, very little done, just been trying to disable vats or figure out why else the truck wont ...
