You could be correct there, I bought the system without the ECU but the guy I bought it from told me it used a Wolf .
Maybe he was guessing!!

Re: old dog -- new tricks

I did the exact same conversion some years back and although you'll never make a Niva a quick car it made an enormous difference to the driveability. I was lucky enough to find a genuine Niva PFI manifold that was used here in Australia at a time when I believe Peter Brock was running the distributi...

Re: My submerge import "traded for vn wagon"

i would love to know why they don't run a narrowband anyways ... even if they don't have it as an emission requirement, its gotta be better with it! I could be wrong but from memory NZ still used leaded fuel until about 1995. The lead in the fuel would have killed most O2 sensors so they just ran o...

Re: VT $A5 V6 Definition Info

The other thing I spoke to Mark about was the checksum of the later Model Holden's and having the ability in Tunerpro to subtract a given region or 2 from the total calculated checksum. This is important as well, would like to run some info past somebody to confirm what I think on the later model H...

Re: VY PCM - 16269238

Unless I've missed something I greatly doubt wether this is a "Better" PCM than the one it replaced, probably just cheaper to produce.
Apart from having a flash chip which thanks to VL400 we now have, it's pretty much the same as the old PCM

Re: VN Commodore ECU update

just to put me on the right track, I should see what sort of change in the VE & ADV tables of the new bin when compared to the ASBY. to my untrained eye there does not appear to be a significant if any difference. You shouldn't really see any change except for the increased resolution on the VE...

Re: VN Commodore ECU update

look forward to it. any news about Adrian's 2 bar bin. I thought I'd wait for VL400 to give it a run on his bench but I'm fairly sure he's got plenty of other things on his plate. I've attached a zip with a bin based on an ARBP and an XDF that should work with it. There's no guarantees but in the t...
