Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
So I see that the scan tools send 6c 10 f1 and we send f0 what's the difference? And i have not had much time to play with the timing stuff but I'm itching to try it again. I think 6c is quieting the bus 10 is module(pcm) ae is mode and the rest is data. Just wondering. Lol I'm still learning and wo...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
Okay got a chance to enter the examples you gave and not change at all I tried the slider and entering raw hex numbers but no change. But I did mess with the injector pulse, had the logger and at idle seen the timing drop to -11 when it tried to die. If you use the pedal it will come back. So I chang...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I will mess around this evening after work. I want the soark control for my cammed (228/232 .585 112 lsa) 5.3 to find the best advance for vacuum. So only at idle I would never try to run a motor lock in a fixed ignition time. But I do understand the risks if it. I know it's in the 20-30 range but i...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
Played around with the command controls and it worked great I edited in ac clutch and injector pulse and got the feel for the layout and how it works. I would take the better list if you are willing to share and will test and find out what works and doesn't and posted it up here to share at least fo...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I figure it was a command message and just have not found any info on what commands but this is what I'm looking for I'll test it out and will do any testing you want. The logger is different then pcmlogger I thought I could edit the xml file and be set. But the profile is set up different. But than...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
Figure this is the best place to ask this. I've been searching the internet for vpw commands and have learned a little, diffently understanat j-1850 protocol better but I'm looking for info on how scan tools do bidirectional controls? Any one have commands to turn on off fans, lock timing, adjust af...

Looking for short and long term idle trims. But any would be good. I have looked in standard pids and not finding any thing I see desired idle airflow but nothing making corrections maybe this is a math parameter I need to make? I know hp has them so you can do the Russk idle tuning method but I'm n...

Re: L31 won't rev using 0411 pcm.
It was on my old computer that crashed. I'll see if the own of the blazer will bring it by to pull the bin. If not I'm sure I just u.p. and segment swap a 8.1 2156 os to the express van 5.7. Just the Trans cals and diag.
