Re: Where to get ECU pins?

Try element14, RS-components, Digikey or Mouser.
If they have it in stock they will deliver fairly quickly. The deliver is usually free from element14 if your order is over ~$60.
I use the first three suppliers at work often.

Re: whipple 304 tune

A pull-down resistor might be the best idea instead of inline. Try a 5 or 10k resistor between the reference and ground to see if that drops it low enough at idle. It may adjust the signal curve a little away from linear but as far as I know the signal is mainly used for accelerator enrichment with ...

Re: Increase cranking time 12P

Maybe he could add an extra guarded momentary switch which goes to the starter solenoid while the key is in "ACC". If the ignition & ECu aren't powered it would turn over but not fire.

Re: VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

As an update I've also installed a new CAS, since I had one or two occasions when the car would crank but not fire. The occasional miss seems to have gone now. Also have a new starter motor and it fires up a lot quicker. New brake pads & rotor have been a great improvement. Had to adjust the bas...

Re: VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

Well I am a bit baffled. I swapped in the new NGK coils (3x) on top of the Delphi ignition module, and tested again. It would fire up momentarily but would not idle or even run on the new standard coils. I had to swap back to the old MSD coil packs again. Not sure why. The leads still look in good c...

Re: JAYCAR Speedo Corrector old model

Hi Holden202T, great work in building your own kit. How did the pricing of the BOM work out? Have you had a play with Arduino, Teensy, STM32 or Pi Pico development boards? They are probably overkill for a speedo healer but having the bootloader and USB connector would make it handy for updating the ...

Re: VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

Finally have a spare moment for a quick update. I was able to install the new injectors... still no change. I ordered a delfi ignition module and that has now fixed most of the problems. I will try the new coil packs to see if that helps the occasional misfire/stumble. It probable needs a bit of tim...

Re: VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

Thanks for all the tips and pointers. Yesterday I finally got a few minutes to work on the car. All the grounds tested okay. The hot battery voltage at the PCM was the same as the battery voltage at the terminals. The board looks okay and couldn't find anything else when inspecting. I connected the ...

Re: VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

Thanks for the tips. I'll try checking the earths and the OBD2 wiring. I think it could be one of the earths as it seems to be making the engine run erratic and not just affecting the coms. Hi quipt4it, unfortuneately I don't have a spare PCM at the moment. It's quite frustrating being my daily driv...

VX L67 Series 1 - PCM or Com Problems?

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forums & tuning the Holden PCMs but have had some experience with a few aftermarket ECUs. I've been trying to troubleshoot a problem with my car for a while now. The car has an intermittent misfire or stumble that happens at all loads & speeds. The ignition module...
