Re: Setting tcc lock earlier vy v6

Same problem on crewman.
Some were better than others so always worth a go to try and lower the TCC lockup.
If vibration is a problem you will need to change back.

Re: Setting tcc lock earlier vy v6

This was done on the 1 tonner utes to stop a bad vibration when the TCC was locked at 100kph. Some vehicles were worse than others but the “fix” was applied to all 1 tonners. You can compare shiftpoints and lockup points with a sedan calibration to see the differences. Need to be careful that the TC...

Re: PCM questions regarding L67 Swap into VY

Unless you’ve done a cam change and mucked it up or somehow fitted the harmonic balancer/toothed wheel incorrectly there’s not much else it can be unless the crank and/or cam sensor are faulty or a faulty DFI module. Check coil end matches the plugs as per image here https://www.gmforum.com/1992-199...

Re: PCM questions regarding L67 Swap into VY

I don’t think you can really knock these engines out of timing.
Are you sure spark plug leads are on the right plugs & coils?

Correct, if TPS is not working properly engine will not see 100% throttle and disable injectors.

Re: 95 Hilux ecotec swapped - 808ecu

I’m not going to have access to my computer until next week but suggest the following: Use the Flashtool to get a full read of the current bin on the NVRAM and post it up, hopefully someone can have a look and see if it looks ok. Not sure, but holden202’s bin maybe an earlier version of 12p, so if y...

Re: 95 Hilux ecotec swapped - 808ecu

Given it’s not firing it may be close to hydraulicing.
Pull all plugs, 100% throttle (should disable injectors) and try cranking to clear it, be careful as if it is full of fuel will pump out the plug holes so make sure no sparks around.

Re: PCM questions regarding L67 Swap into VY

I’m not in front of a computer so can’t check the files, but make sure you also change the cranking fuel times as with larger injectors will be flooding the engine when cranking. Look at a supercharged VT-VY bin and see what it uses for cranking fuel and copy over.

Re: Access to the GM portal in Australia (Holden)

Seems a little strange.
Maybe try accessing via a VPN set to Australia?
