Just my 2 cents, but you are asking for lots of problems trying to make an e67 run a sbc converted to 58x. I would just leave the distributor, and run it efi with an l31 tune on a p01 pcm from a van. Even if you have to go coil per plug, I would go 24x and stick with a p01 pcm. So much easier to acc...

Found this informative, thought I should share.

You need a decent scan tool to do basic diagnostics before you assume anything. Look at fuel trims, o2 switching, maf, map, timing. A moderate to large cam will make it run rough low rpm without proper tune.

4l60 doesn't deserve any hate, but i'm all for getting an e38 to run 24x.

Working here in usa. I prefer a smaller font for thread index, as can zoom in, but cant zoom out, but is working. Inside the thread, font size is fine. I use a phone 99 percent of the time. Merry Christmas!

Even though the setting exists in their software, from others reporting from testing, the pcm is unable to detect knock when using a sensor that the pcm wasn't designed to work with. It is a hardware issue, not a software issue. I am only retelling what I read when researching this several years ago...

2500 trucks had lq4 6.0 and 4l80, escalade and ss had lq9 6.0 and 4l60 or 4l65.

I believe 6.0 trucks had the 4l80 unless it was Escalade or SS.
