Re: Muggy high humidity days significantly improves performance - But how?
As you say, moisture in the air is supposed to be a bad thing but then why does water injection increase power? I remember my old 308 was really happy on cold mornings, especially when there was a bit of fog about, you could hear it in the exhaust note. Maybe it's the way you have it tuned? Factory ...

Re: IAC flaring on EFI Hardware Throttle Body
This is from the 11p Overview PDF, Closed Throttle Volumetric Efficiency (VE) On engines with low and varying vacuum at idle it can be problematic using the MAP sensor signal for fueling. A closed throttle VE vs RPM table has been added. To enable the use of this table set “[xxxx] set = Closed Throt...

Re: IAC flaring on EFI Hardware Throttle Body
It's cammed right? (I can't remember what you have sorry). What kpa does it idle at?
I wonder if the IAC Kpa Vs RPM threshold needs adjustment.

Re: IAC flaring on EFI Hardware Throttle Body
I believe the normal idle setting is around the 20-30 steps? (or am I thinking V6 stuff?)
Throttle showing 0% at idle when coasting?
Try lowering the values in the IAC- Throttle Crack Offset Vs RPM table a bit.

Yes, that's right.
It's been a long time since I read the PDF.

Re: ose_$11p
In the original tune there was a parameter that set the spark curve once you went beyond the spark table. I guess it depends what VL400 did with it?

Re: ose_$11p
I'd imagine if there were spare bytes available he'd have made it the same as 12p? I'm fairly sure somewhere he talks about using every byte, he's removed some original functionality to create more spare bytes for other areas so no I don't think there were any spare bytes to potentially increase tab...

Re: ose_$11p
Space limitation. 11p has to dedicate a whole lot of space for the transmission code

Re: DTC for trans
I'd imagine it will throw a code if the PCM has requested lockup but it doesn't work.
Max out the TCC lockup tables and that should stop the PCM trying to lock the converter.
