Re: PCMHammer P04

It's the older generation CPU with its alignment crashyness we had to code around that the P01 and newer didn't suffer from. That is not true, as far as flashing and coding goes it is as solid as the P01, it does not have the same issues with alignment (or whatever it is) that the P04 suffers from,...

Re: PCMHammer P04

What are you finding different about the P08 then say the P01 ... I find they are pretty much the same from a flashing point of view.

Re: help with pcm hammer

I think he has been over whelmed with information and doesn't know what to do, and doesn't want to soft brick another PCM. I'm going to either let him come to me in PM again, or back off of it here ... I'm not a tuner though, he would be better off with a tuner, someone that has done a 5.3 -> 6.0 sw...

Re: help with pcm hammer

Is there even a 6.0 used with Os 12587603. I've never seen one. Doesn't the Hummer use a 4L65E ... I don't think it uses a 4L60E, I don't have any entries for one in my db at least. All I have is 4.3L, 4.8L and 5.3L using the 4L60E. Anyone know what the sensory differences are between the 5.3 and 6....

Re: help with pcm hammer

My fault, I told him to start his own thread. I didn't put 2 and 2 together and realize this is his own thread. From what I've gathered already is it's a 2003 Silverado with a 6.0 and a 4L60 ... I don't have a 6.0 4L60 file of Os 12587603, just a 5.3 4L60, I don't do segment swaps, don't know enough...

Re: PCMHammer P04

Hex editor and visually inspecting the range from 4000 to 8000.

4000 to 5FFF is parameter segment 1
6000 to 7FFF is parameter segment 2

Re: help with pcm hammer

It's a Intel P59, It has the Intel only Os on it, it needs to be Os Swapped to 12587603, he has a 6.0 and they both have the same transmission whatever it is.

We need to know what Transmission, I might have a good file to start with, if I don't some one does.

Re: PCMHammer P04

I just woke, had that thought, did it, came to announce, saw your request to do so ... PcmHammer_debugLog_20231018@001443.txt Success! PCM Recovered! zack4200, I'll send you a build that might recover that PCM for you, but you don't want to use it for anything else except to recover from that exact ...

Re: New PCM, is it dead?

Connectors, how tight are they ??

I have seen many sloppy loose connectors to the point they have to be positioned exactly right to even work, had to pull them apart and tighten them up.
