Tuning for diff gears
Hi All, Considering fitting some 3.45 diff gears in the VS (ecotec). I did the same on my manual VN and just used a speedo corrector box to fix the dash speedo, however with the Auto (4l60e) I believe that I need to alter tune to suit. Can somebody let me know what needs to be changed to make it all...

T700 (4L60) VSS???
Hi All,
What VSS does the T700 box use?
T700 is going behind a ecotec in a engine conversion. Need to figure out what ecotec base tune to use.
Thanks
Bart

Re: Delco 808 ignition only setup
It is a Holden 3800 (VP i think) that has been converted to run a carby as per the category rules (top cut of standard manifold and adaptor welded on). Still runs the original DFI/coil set up but with no ecu the timing would be locked at one setting wouldn't it? I know that some of the guys move the...

Delco 808 ignition only setup
Hey all, Can a delco 808 be used to run the ignition system only? Reason I ask is that at the speedway the rules require the guys to use a carby and they basically set the timing by moving the CAS to get timing advance, however it is locked which isn't really that efficient. If I can get the delco t...

Re: VS V6 Auto to T5 wiring conversion
I will give a getrag bin a try. I've started transferring the changes to the getrag bin. The owner is using the speedo healer with the T5 VSS to convert the square wave output of the T5 VSS to a simulated sine wave so that he wouldn't have the issues with the auto PCM not having the circuitry for th...

Re: VS V6 Auto to T5 wiring conversion - update
OK, We manually unset all the error flags for the auto transmission (and engine check light). Owner tested signal healer box and it is putting out a simulated sine wave. uploaded the new tune today. Engine check light is now off, however when we check the DTC codes in tunerpro the same auto trans fa...

OK, set Getrag manual = 1 but still no VSS (even though the dash speedo is working) and we are still getting auto trans error codes. Manual trans flag is also set???
any ideas?

VS V6 Auto to T5 wiring conversion
Hi All, What is required to get a T5 manual box running properly in a VS (with auto ecu)? T5 has been fitted, but we are getting an engine check light. What do we need to modify in the wiring/tune to get it to run properly? It has been fitted with a speed sensor healer which converts the T5 speed se...
