Re: VT1 - How Much Rear Camber
i have R33 Skyline calipers which are destined for the front of the thing. Its only at atmo v6 and its use case is simply punt around sandown on track days mate so no class type issues except for dbA with noise, ie: no open pipes. With the fat cunt driving it I'll need all the stopping power ever t...

Re: Vlad's rides thread
Cheers all ! Yeah they are the same from VN to VS but colors vary from model to model and variants. Black is pretty uncommon, mostly seen in VP II and VP vacationer pretty much, both uncommon today, especially the later. VR were mostly grey as was the VN and early VP. VS might have black ones? I do...

Re: Immortalities totally random thread
Subarururu update, Car played up a bit last night but before the boy could pull over safely to do the alternator test it had cleared. I tried removing the alternator plug last night at home but no luck so we had another go this morning. Once we got the plug off we found corrosion on one of the pins...

Re: VZ engine swap not running
Honestly Matt, pull the covers. This means you can make sure everything is right then reassemble. While you think it is a pain it will be more of a pain if you drop the chain or just a tooth. Just take the right approach. At least you know roughly where the issue is. would be great that after the s...

Re: VT1 - How Much Rear Camber
Yep, they saved on costs not welding on the brackets for the toe links... It's a shame I can't change the rear subframe on the VS to the later spec unit :( Um immortality the cradle is able to bolt into the VS. the cradle itself did not change in bolt pattern or width. Only the arms and the drive s...

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
Congratulations again Sam, I was going to make a crack about what the hell you put her in an esky, but then I saw the next picture. Cribs are horrible devices and these days very neccessary. I myself was in one back in the stone again for the first 3 months of my life and hence why my eyes are so st...

Hey Vlad,
wasnt the VR's having the same fan control? these might be less worn and you might be able to repaint the marker so it is bright like the other controls. Looking great though!!!
Cheers

Re: VN 808, was running, now no fuel relay voltage
The relay was dropping 2V across the contacts, checked with a multimeter across it's contacts, it's only a few bucks so I replaced it. I am getting the priming voltage for a fews secs as measured at the ECU. I think my earlier result was incorrect as I was measuring at the pump or I just cocked it ...

Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Looking Good heff0018, I would have waited until the rods came back to clean the cylinders as the air will flash on the clean metal. It is a step you would generally do during the assembly not before hand. Grab yourself some wb40 and drown the cylinders in it so that it does not flash any further. W...
