Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
An update for the GT J2534 (v1.5) will be available shortly, I am going to be marking it as 'beta' on the website since I need to find some more VPW based ECUs to test with GM Techline/GDS2 and other J2534 tools before I feel confident pushing it to the core API. This update makes a small edit to ho...

Re: Hammer not reading ECU
I'd be happy to fix anything to be within spec. The library itself works fine, the issue is that the way the filter (pattern and mask) are applied is invalid as per the J2534 specification. I don't expect anyone to be an expert on this matter, but I do know this pretty well :) Yes it may be working...

Re: Hammer not reading ECU
Why get into pcmhammer operating outta SAE but works. Just say yeah I’ll fix it…. Why mention it? Because its wrong. As I am the one maintaining the OBDX J2534 compliancy, I have to note down every single change and why the change was done so that in the event it affects a main stream softwa...

Re: Hammer not reading ECU
No its not possible GT is not supported. The OBD X Pro guys maintain the code in the app. The only gotcha is the need to use native support, not J2534. @Tazzi if you want to update the J2534 support in the tool or drivers so both modes work, please do. I’ll look into it tomorrow :) Technically the ...

Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
Updates have rolled out for VX, GT and FT scantools. This update is to help address to the controllers that request a slower communication between CAN frames which the OBDX adds a bit of a 'buffer zone' ontop of. I have flashed several thousands of times with a bunch of OBDXs all hooked up to the be...

I’ll also assume it’s fixed because I no longer risk using it. Thats not a problem. Each to their own! Since our focus is working with willing developers and individuals, we cannot expect everyone to be like that or be willing to take time away to email logs. Regardless, back to it! This ...

Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
I can't give you the information you require as I no longer use your product due to multiple failed attempts on majority of testing I did with it on modules that we have discussed in the past including GM and Ford. You had stated the speed was not the issue referring me back to the software develop...

Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
You will find this to be the case with not only GM... And would explain why your tool is far less reliable then OEM tools If you can give me an example of a module/vehicle, I can boot it up on the bench to see whats going on? As you can see, Im an active (And vocal) developer about issues, since it...
