Re: How is gm bcm millage calculated?
I've seen the ECM odometer DID as $DF. It's 4 bytes long and E=N/64km

1A A0 just polls for the MEC DID value. 5A A0 is the response followed by the MEC value04colyZQ8 wrote:I think 1A A0 puts the module intolerant mode after timer and after entering Immo pin code. Then successful reposnse is 5A A0. ?

Re: unlocked E41( and t87a) swapping to another vehicle
I've never had a newer ecm accept the immo pin on the bench, only after it is connected to the vehicle. I'm guessing because the BCM is not on the network. As far as the MEC, some ecm software will never allow it to be changed after it is set to zero. I haven't dug into an e78 yet so I'm not sure on...

Re: reflash P59 tac module
I know this has been going for a while so maybe it was already suggested... but my truck had a max idle area setting in the ECM that I had to increase because it was overriding my other idle settings. no matter what I did it would not increase the throttle over that amount if app was 0%

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I tried to use the latest version with a mdi 2 and it would only allow for connecting a mdi 1. I selected the dropdown menu for mdi 2 but the mdi manager window popped up with the image of a mdi 1 and wouldn't see the mdi 2.

you can pull apart of a stock motor at 40k km's and find them broken. the old fixed unit never has an issue.
truth...they break just trying to compress them to remove the chain

Re: PE RPM vs TPS% THRESHOLD
sorry, I missed what you were working on originally. I'm not that familiar with these so someone else will probaby have to chime in. the tables i was referring to are for enable delays. things like rpm, ect, and torque delays before it will enable PE.

Re: PE RPM vs TPS% THRESHOLD
I'd need to look closer at what you are working on, but don't just zero everything. for example in most cases there is an ect threshold you would want to max out because if your ect is above that amount it actually delays PE mode.
