Re: Idle & Off Throttle Hang - Sometimes
Please excuse the dumb questions, but apart from any problems that the DTC 49 may cause, is there a Throttle Follower function in the Series 3 PCM to adjust the rate at which the IAC valve returns or starts to return? Or is there a Throttle Cracker function in the PCM that can be changed to prevent ...

Re: Injector Rate and BLMs
I have managed to work out where I was going wrong with the Histogram, and now have the LTFT below 5. On the Histogram for the ignition timing though, it logs a much lower value as to what is entered into the ignition table. I don't think I have any real knock indicated as all the knock values are b...

Re: Injector Rate and BLMs
Hi, I was just using the VT A6 ADX. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but the Data Tracing only highlights the first row of any table that I view. I did try another ADX that I found for the VT V8, but it made no real difference. So I was just hoping to use the data from the RH LTFT Histogram and t...

Injector Rate and BLMs
Hi,
With the VT V8 injector rate constant, how do I reference the BLM Cell Number to the mg/cyl and rpm? Is Cell 0 simply 50 mg/cyl and Cell 1 100 mg/cyl etc? Also, is the LTFT expressed as a percentage?
Thanks in advance.

E10 Blended fuels and AFRs
I recently filled up with E10 premium on a long drive and the wide band AFR gauge was indicating significantly leaner than usual. I am still using the factory lean cruise map and the gauge indicates between 16:1 to 17:1 on normal premium unleaded when in lean cruise. But after fuelling up with the E...

Water Injection
I have a VS series 3 I would like to install water injection on intend to use an Aquamist High Speed Valve to control the water flow rather than the usual boost pressure switch arrangment. Is there any way to piggy back off one of the injector connectors either on the injector itself or the loom to ...

Code 51
Hi,
I have just fitted an NVRAM to my VT with a CJDN bin and the Engine Light is on with a Code 51?
Any pointers for a beginner on what to look for or what I have done wrong? I have checked that the NVRAM is sitting in its socket properly.
Thanks

Lean Cruise Question
Hi,
There is a Scalar in the Series 3 XDF Called Lean Cruise - Minimum Road Speed to enable Hystersis.
Does anyone have a simple explaination of what this function is? Thanks in advance.
